boo! boo!

halloween card + chocolate bar wrapper for my best friend (made some long time ago...)
ruffle frame from polyester lining fabric

I found this girl silhouette on a vintage card, traced it using AI and made over a bit

dotted pattern by me, printed on recycled envelope

gift bag + tag

simple gift bag sewed of burlap-like polyester fabric
houndstooth paper printed by me using regular laser printer

burlap bottle bag

frankly? I'm not a huge fan of sewing burlap
and I struggled to find some use for this orange one...
I'm not even sure why I bought it, but since I did so... this is one more booze bag ;)

the tag says "all the best" in Polish

yet another handmade bottle gift bag

orange fabric on a clothespin stabilized with thick paper first
tags say: serdeczności (all the best in Polish) and Od wina głupieje dziewczyna
which is a Polish saying that means (very roughly!) Wine makes a gal shine ;)

the red rectangle is a pocket for some additional message or banknotes ;)

yet another bottle bag

apart from a ribbon handle, it is similar to this one

"Superzbigniew" is a nickname of a family friend

the story is the guy, Zbigniew, was a kinda perfect guy in my mum's eyes,
so even my then-kid bro used to make fun of it and call him so
- a quarter of a century ago -
by analogy with superman and other superheroes I guess ;)

upcycled gift bag

well, it was a paper shopping bag with a logotype :)

has been cut in half and upcycled:

- scrapbooking paper on both sides
- fabric leaves painted with glidden's shaded fern (flat)
- paper flower made with paper punch
- fabric flower made with pinking shears
- and another one with papertrey ink steel die
- faux leather straps for handles

flowers made with hot glue and tim holtz tiny attacher

in vino veritas

i used a faux leather belt and fabric leftovers
printed on light brown envelope paper

as you can guess this bag is meant for a bottle of wine
hope it looks 'masculine' :)

romantic heart

vintage botanical illustration (found on the net & photoshoped)
printed on reused brown wrapping paper

the heart was made of the same dish towel as this one plus some thick off-white cotton from ikea

i actually use pillow inserts to stuff hearts
one insert for the smallest throw pillow (the cheapest i can get!) lasts me a looong time :)

and...the no-sentiment version you see in the middle
is how the tag looked initially - then i messed everything up when writing on the inside ;)
